Struck by the realization that as a scene painter one's work goes directly from stage to dumpster. I decided that immortality could best be had by becoming a decorative painter and serving the needs of the over-privileged by tarting up their great big giant homes, of which there are many in New York City and its environs. This continued for about 25 years including the occasional side trip to paint enormous homes in DC, Palm Beach, Vermont and, once Tokyo, Japan, to stencil the floor of the sportswear section of a men's department store, because, well, why not.
I was fortunate to live for almost four years in Madrid - the best city in the world - Spain, just a twenty minute walk from the Prado.
I currently live in Bozeman, Montana where I am working to complete various illustration, painting, and writing projects, before our robot overlords step up their game.
